LanHunter makes it easy to search for files on your local network (LAN). LanHunter offers the most direct way to locate a file. Use LanHunter if you are looking for common file types, if you remember all or part of the name of the file you want to find, or if you know when you last changed a file. If you know only part of the name, you can use wildcard characters to locate all files that include that part in the name.

Explorer Buddy

WinXCopy

WinXCopy is a Fast hassle free XCopy like command line tool (written in C#.Net). This utility is Windows version of DOS based XCopy utility. I designed it to make copying files repeatable and pleasant experience by avoiding black color DOS boxes and batch files. It displays bare minimum info necessary, so it is amazingly fast, especially with repetitive copies. This was developed using C#.Net, so it requires .Net Framework (I use v1.1).

Rename-It!

Rename-It! can rename a lot of files easily but also very quickly: It incorporates in the Shell (via the Explorer's context menu). Filters avaible: Search & Replace (replace a string by another and support regular expressions or wildcards), Case (make the file name uppercase, lowercase ...), Crop (only keeps a part of the file name), ID3 Tag (reads the MP3 files ID3 Tag's info).

Zip Search

Find will often fail when the search for text is inside a zip. This program will do a text search inside zipped files. You can specify the files to search (e.g. *.txt + *.doc) as well as the the search string. Subdirectories can be done too. Double-clicking a file on the final list will open the zip in you associated zip program.

File Uploader
