SSH provides encrypted login, terminal sessions, and data transfer. Port forwarding redirects TCP/IP applications over an encrypted channel. Encryption ciphers: Blowfish, DES, 3DES, RC4. Emulations: VT100/102/220, ANSI, SCO ANSI, basic Wyse 50/60, Xterm, Linux console (ANSI color support).
